Questions about this page? Email us at info@weborbitx.com and a person will answer. This page sets out how we work with drivers in general; the specific terms that apply to you are given to you in writing before you start.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the services provided by WebOrbitX Mobility, based in Portugal.

We are a fleet partner: we help drivers join TVDE and food delivery platforms, prepare and submit the required documents, and support them while they work. We are not a platform, and we are not your employer.

2. Applications and acceptance

An application sent through this website is a request to join our fleet, not an agreement. Nothing is confirmed until we reply in writing and you accept the fleet terms we send you.

We may decline an application, for example where the platform's own requirements are not met. Where we do, we will tell you why.

3. What we do, and what the platform does

  • We prepare and submit your onboarding file under our fleet, and follow it until your account is activated.
  • Approval is the platform's decision, not ours, and we cannot guarantee it or promise a timescale.
  • Your work, your hours and your earnings are governed by the platform's own terms, which you accept directly with them.
  • Whether a vehicle is made available to you depends on the fleet you join. Where one is, it is covered by a separate written agreement — these terms do not by themselves give you the use of a vehicle.

4. Driver requirements

  • You must hold a valid driving licence and meet the minimum age the platform sets for the fleet you are joining.
  • For TVDE, the platforms generally require a TVDE driver certificate, a criminal record certificate, identification and a NIF. We confirm the exact list that applies to you in writing during onboarding.
  • For food delivery, the usual requirements are identification, a NIF, an IBAN in your own name and a vehicle you are entitled to use. We confirm the exact list in writing during onboarding.
  • You must have the right to work in Portugal. We check this, and the documents the platform requires, before we submit your file.
  • You are responsible for keeping your documents valid and telling us when anything changes.

5. Fees and payments

No payment is taken through this website.

  • The fleet fee or commission that applies to you, how it is calculated and when it is charged are set out in the written fleet agreement you receive before you start. Nothing is charged until you have accepted those terms.
  • How your platform earnings reach you, and on what schedule, is set out in that same agreement and depends on the platform you work with.
  • Any charge for an optional service, and anything you are responsible for paying yourself, is itemised in that agreement before you accept it.
  • Anything still outstanding when you leave the fleet is settled on the terms set out in that agreement.

6. Your obligations as a fleet driver

  • Give accurate information and genuine documents — a false document ends the relationship and may be reported.
  • Keep to the platform's terms, and to the law, including tax and social security obligations.
  • Your platform account is personal to you. It must not be shared with, or used by, anyone else.
  • The insurance each side is responsible for is set out in your written fleet agreement. Read it before you start, and tell us if your circumstances change.
  • Tell us promptly about accidents, account blocks or anything that affects your ability to work.

7. Leaving the fleet

The notice each side must give, how you are released to another fleet, and what happens to your platform account are all set out in the written fleet agreement. Ask us for those terms before you join if they matter to your decision, and we will confirm any release in writing.

8. Liability

We are responsible for the fleet services we agree to provide. We are not responsible for the platforms' decisions, for their apps, or for your earnings, which depend on your own work and on market conditions.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Portuguese law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Complaints and governing law

If something is not right, contact us at info@weborbitx.com and we will respond promptly.

These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are acting as a consumer, this does not affect the protections available to you under the law of the country where you live.
